Today I want to talk about the first step of taking your website online. I am assuming you have your website plans and content prepared, it is time to go LIVE. The first step of going online is the hosting, placing web files such as images, HTML files and so on in this rented space will make your website alive. When people search your domain name on a browser it will access your content from the host.

Hosting/web hosting: You are essentially renting a shared space on a server managed by a company for X amount a month.

Domain name: It is the name of the website, for example, www.helpmeagain.com. Help Me Again is the website address that you search online to get to our content. Remember, the web address should be easy to remember and it must reflect your business or brand.
